AED National Convention - March 6-9, 2008
// We will be staying in the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center. [Photos]
*** How will we get there? ***
// We weill be taking 2 charter buses that seats 35 people in each bus. There are TVs and DVD players on the bus, so that we can watch movies on the trip. Remember to try to bring some videos for the trip. iPods and other electronics are welcome, but AED is NOT responsible if it gets stolen.
*** How long is the trip to TX? ***
// The trip will take about 10 hours driving +/- 3 hours for food and restroom stops. The buses have a restroom in the back, but it doesn't get emptied until we have made the trip to Texas. So that we don't suffer from the smell, we are asking AED members to not use it unless of an emergency. The driver will make impromptu stops anytime a member needs to use the restroom.
*** What's the weather going to be like? ***
// We're not sure. Before we head out, you may want to check out the weather forecast for that area. [Weather Forecast]
*** Who do I talk to if I have more questions? ***
// You can ask any AED officer, but you may get more detailed answers if you contact Pavan since he's organizing most of this trip.
*** When is the next convention meeting? ***
// There is another convention meeting on Feb. 21, 2008 at 7PM.

** If you are 18 OR UNDER than you must have a parent/guardian sign it as well. If you will not be seeing them any time soon, please email it to them and have them fax it to Dr. Stanfield at (251) 380-2711 for your signature.
The due date is Friday, February 29th. You can bring it to the meeting, hand it to me, or drop it off with Dr. Jackson or Dr. Stanfield.
