Campus Recreation Summer Camps are open to boys and girls ages 7-13 years old. These camps are geared towards high-energy sports activities. Children will participate in a different activity each hour from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Lunch will be provided on campus at the Fresh Food Market’s “all you can eat” buffet.
Sports Clubs at the University of South Alabama are designed to encourage responsible student participation in organized competitive activities with sports clubs from other institutions. Involvement in intra-club events such as instruction, practice, socials, and tournament play is also promoted. If a student organization is based upon some type of physical activity that meets the above mentioned parameters AND it wishes to use any Campus Recreation facilities or resources, it will fall under the jurisdiction of the Campus Recreation Sports Club program.

Life is not a spectator sport. USA Campus Recreation wants you to explore Alabama and neighboring states by participating in our exciting trips scheduled for every month of the year. To make your trip hassle free and affordable, we can provide everything except your clothing. Transportation, equipment, cooking gear and camp fees will be covered in one easy trip fee; we will provide food for a small additional fee. At our pre-trip meetings we will discuss weather and food, hand out equipment, answer questions, and you will get to meet our fellow adventurers.
The Intramural Program provides the opportunity to enhance the college experience outside of the traditional classroom by providing the student staff, faculty, and alumni the chance to participate in the fun and excitement of intramural competition. Intramural sports offer both an outlet for those who would prefer the arena of serious competition and a relaxed atmosphere for those that just want to unwind.
