Attention Juniors, Seniors and Graduate Students Graduating in May 2018,
Did you miss your opportunity to join Air Force ROTC as a freshman or sophomore? Do you want to serve as an Air Force officer after you graduate? Air Force ROTC is offering an exciting one-time opportunity for upperclassmen and graduate students to enroll in the program beginning in the Spring 2017 semester, after which you will have the opportunity to commission in the United States Air Force.
In order to qualify, you must enroll in AS301 (USAF Leadership Studies-I) and AS301L (Leadership Laboratory) for the Spring 2017 semester and you must meet the following criteria by the 10th day of the Fall 2017 semester to continue the program:
-2.5 Cumulative GPA
-2.5 Term GPA
-Pass the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (Verbal:15/Quantitative:10)
-Become certified by the Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board
-Pass the Air Force Physical Fitness and BMI standards
-Meet drug/alcohol/civil involvement criteria
-Complete a degree plan (Form 48) including a graduation date of Spring 2018
If you choose to take advantage of this opportunity, you will begin drawing a $450 per month stipend once you meet the above criteria. You will have a guaranteed Enrollment Allocation once you meet all requirements (which allows you to commission as an officer) and you will attend Field Training in the summer of 2017. Upon completion of Field Training, you will draw a $500 monthly stipend. Following graduation, you will be commissioned in the world's greatest Air Force with a guaranteed salary, full benefits, housing and subsistence allowance, and opportunities to further your education while serving.
