Academic Advising in Interdisciplinary Studies

Secondary banner

Because of the uniqueness of the Interdisciplinary Studies (IST) degree, it is extremely important that each student meet with an IST advisor on a regular basis. Students will work closely with their advisor to ensure that university and departmental requirements are being met, and to assist students in selecting courses in their chosen concentration that are relevant to their individual educational and career interests and goals.

Three full-time professional IST advisors are available to meet with students by appointment year-round. The IST advising staff is devoted to helping students succeed, and they are sensitive to the needs of traditional and non-traditional students alike.
