About Me:

As a double-alumna from the University of South Alabama, I have a genuine interest in the success of this institution as well as the students it serves. The University of South Alabama was an easy choice for me as it provided the excitement of a state university with the camaraderie of a hometown school.  I am passionate about USA because I have been lucky enough to experience its dramatic evolution over the last decade first-hand.  Come grow with us at the University of South Alabama!

My Favorite:

Thing to do on campus

I enjoy exploring USA’s campus because there are always new developments. One of my favorite activities as a student was to ride the Jag Tran around campus on my breaks.

USA Tradition

Although it is a newer “tradition,” I love to tailgate for USA football and cheer on the Jags!

Thing about USA

I have found the people at USA to be very sincere and supportive. It is clear that the people at this university are pulling for you and care about your success.

Place to Eat in Mobile

Mellow Mushroom, Foosackly’s, the Boiling Pot…. And anywhere overlooking Mobile Bay!

Country, classic rock, and anything I can dance to in my car!

I am a movie fanatic! I love movies in general from Forrest Gump to the Hunger Games to the Lion King. I also love feel-good movies – the kind you watch on television every time they come one, even though you have them on your shelf!

I really enjoyed the Hunger Games trilogy. If I had to pick a favorite book I would say The Wedding, by Nicholas Sparks (although I cry my eyes out over all Nicholas Sparks books I’ve read thus far).
