About Me: I am from Hoover, Alabama, a suburb of Birmingham. I chose South because it was far enough away from home to gain my independance, but close enough to go home on occasion. The scholarship opportunities made college affordable, and when I visited campus, I felt like I was on a college campus and not in the middle of a city. I loved the small class sizes and the fact that there are enough people on campus to make new friends, but the ability to recognize people as you walk by them on your way to class. While a student at USA, I immediately became involved with Greek life which opened doors to other campus organizations and community service and leadership opportunities. Without my experience at South Alabama, I would not be where I am today, which is why I chose to come back and work for this wonderful institution. Please let me know if I can be of any help during your college transition process, and GO JAGS!
