Camp Policies

  1. A $50 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit PER CHILD, PER SESSION is required to hold your child's spot.   This deposit is due 24 hours after you receive a confirmation email that there is a spot available for your child. Please do not pay the deposit UNTIL WE CONFIRM there is a spot for your child.  All payments are online; no cash or checks.

  2. The balance is due one week prior to the start of the session in which your child is enrolled (the Monday prior to camp starting).   Failure to pay the balance one week in advance will result in your child's spot being forfeited and we will call the next person on the waiting list.  

  3. Refund policy:  Refunds, minus the $50 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit, will be given up to one week prior to the start of the session in which your child is enrolled (the Monday prior to camp starting).  No refunds will be given less than one week before the start of the session in which your child is enrolled.

  4. Only Student Recreation Center members' children and grandchildren may get the SRC Member rate and early registration on March 1.  Extended family and friends of SRC members must pay the Non-SRC Member rate and wait for registration on April 1.

  5. All payments are online; no cash or checks.  If you need a receipt for 2017 tax purposes, print a receipt immediately after paying.

  6. Children must be incoming 1st-8th graders.  Children must have completed kindergarten and should not be going into high school.  No exceptions.

  7. Please do not ask to be added to a full camp.  For risk management, we must adhere to a counselor:camper ratio of 1:8.  

  8. Children may not be dropped off earlier than 7:30 AM.  Children must be picked up by 5:30 PM.   Children should arrive each day in their swimsuits and bring a towel, two snacks (no peanuts/peanut products), a change of clothes, socks, and athletic shoes.

  9. There is no pro-rated cost if your child(ren) cannot attend the entire week.
     
  10. Electronics of any kind (cell phones, tablets, games, etc) and trading cards  are not permitted.  Please do not send to camp with your child.

  11. Parents must escort their child(ren) into and out of the Rec Center every day and sign them in/out.  Children will not be allowed to leave the building on their own to meet parents in the parking lot.

  12. This is a camp that focuses on physical activity.  By registering your child for camp, you attest that your child is willing and able to participate in all activities for the duration of each day.
