Late Stay

Late Stay is offered for current residents who need to remain in their room after the residence halls close for the spring term on May 3, 2024. Residents who request Late Stay must be approved to stay and must have a university-related/academic need to remain on campus.

Eligibility

Students who have a Spring 2024 housing assignment and are part of a university-sponsored program or event have the option to request late stay. Late Stay requests are considered based on the identified program and the timing of the request. Late Stay may not be available for every student.

Instructions

Eligible students (based on the above criteria) who have confirmation from a sponsoring department/academic program requiring to stay late should submit a request online in the 'Requests' section in MyUSAHousing.

Residents have the option to choose from two different late stay dates:

  • Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM
  • Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM

Complete the Late Stay Request form, then click the 'Submit Request' button after reviewing ALL information on that page. After submitting the request, you can monitor the status of your request on the next page.

You will receive notice via JagMail notifying you a decision has been made. Details of the decision will be located in the 'Requests' section of MyUSAHousing.

The Cost

All approved Late Stay Requests will be charged $20.00 per night until departure.
