Moving to college will go smoothly with the proper planning. You'll find the lists below useful for planning, shopping, and packing. There are many ways to customize your space with bedding, lamps, accessories and more. You can learn more about your room's standard features and amenities by visiting your respective residential community page. Visit our Residence Halls page to locate your personal community page.
Move-In Tip: Students are strongly encouraged to clearly identify their assigned building and room number on all personal belongings for Move-In Day to ensure our #USAMoveIn volunteers are able to transport student belongings to the correct room.

BRING IT
Keep in mind you may not need every item on this list. For some, a shower caddy is essential while others will not see it as a necessity. The included items are here to serve as a guide in creating your personal "what to bring" list. It may be helpful to discuss some of these items with your roommate or suitemate (if applicable), as it may not be necessary for both of you to bring every item.
