Academic Advising at South Alabama
At the University of South Alabama, academic advising is about you. You have completed advising for your first semester, but make sure you are familiar with your department's advisor(s) so you can contact them mid-semester to prepare for the next semester's registration! Don't wait... learn more about advising and your major today!

You can find your advisor's information by logging into PAWS. Appointments for most advisors can be made through your PAWS account.

Paying your Tuition & Fees

Note the deadlines for payment. You can submit payment through your PAWS account or by contacting the Office of Student Accounting. Check your PAWS account for financial aid and scholarship award information.

Register for your Parking Permit

Students who bring a vehicle to campus are required to register his/her vehicle with Parking Services and obtain a valid
parking permit. Parking permits are ordered online and mailed to the student for $5.00.  Students must be registered for classes to be eligible for a student parking permit.  Class registration may take up to 24 hours to update in the parking system. 

Textbooks

The USA Bookstore sells new and used books, as well as has the option to rent textbooks. The USA Bookstore is located in the Student Center.  For more information, visit the USA Bookstore's web site.

Student Activities

Get involved on campus! There are over 200 clubs and organizations at USA, so find one or more that fit you and enrich your college experience!  We encourage you to explore USA's student clubs and organizations.
