The University of South Alabama Innovation in Learning Center will host the 2nd Annual South Alabama Conference on Teaching and Learning May 14-15 at the Health Sciences Building on the main campus. This year, USA is pleased to welcome the support and involvement of Spring Hill College, the University of Mobile and Bishop State Community College.
The theme for this year’s conference is “Collaboration & Creativity,” and the keynote speakers are: Dr. Saundra McGuire, chemistry professor and assistant vice chancellor for Learning, Teaching and Retention at Louisiana State University; and, Dr. Mark Milliron, chancellor of Western Governors University Texas, the nonprofit university founded by the state of Texas to provide its citizens accredited, high-quality, online and blended competency-based degrees.
The conference is free to all USA faculty and graduate students and presenters who register through April 30. The conference is also open to the public for a $25 registration fee that covers meals and the conference program. After April 30, the public registration fee will increase to $40 and USA faculty and graduate students will be subject to a registration fee of $25.
