Parenting is tough, and it does not get any easier as your son or daughter gets older and decides to go away to college. Whether living on-campus means: around the world, across the country, or across town - living on-campus will be an adjustment for both parent and student. University Housing and Residence Life strives to provide safe, well maintained residence halls operating in support of the educational mission of the University of South Alabama. It is also our goal to provide a positive atmosphere where students can develop in all areas of their academic and personal lives.

  Immunization Records Information

Beginning Fall Semester 2011, the University of South Alabama will require all students (and staff) living in University Housing have the Meningitis vaccine (within the last 5 years) and provide the immunization record to the USA Health Center. Failure to provide the Meningitis immunization record prior to residence hall check-in may impact the check-in status of the student or staff member. All immunization records should be mailed to the address listed below.

The University of South Alabama requires that all first time entering students born after 1956 must have had two doses of a Measles containing vaccine (Rubeola, MMR, MR) prior to registration. One dose must have been after 1980 and at least one of the doses must have been an MMR. Blue cards (IMM 50) or copies of blue cards will be accepted.

Please mail all immunization records to:
