Graduates of this program will earn a DNP degree and be eligible to sit for the ACNP exam. The American Association of Colleges of Nursing has set a 2015 date for full implementation of the DNP as the entry level for advanced practice. |

| While AGACNP/DNP classes are taught online, all students enrolled in AHN 568 (first NAGA clinical course) in the fall of 2013, are required to attend a mandatory three (3) day orientation. The orientation will be held August 7-9, 2013. Check-in will begin on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Health Sciences Lobby and attendees will be dismissed at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2013. Attendance is required and will allow for questions and interaction with course faculty. Various clinical skills workshops will be held during the orientation. | |
