Biography
 

Following a career in the U.S. Coast Guard as an Intelligence and Law Enforcement Officer and a Coast Guard JAG Officer, Ron Nelson returned to school for his Ph.D.  Prior to beginning his current teaching duties at the University of South Alabama in 2003, he served as a Visiting Professor at Washington State University and the University of New Mexico.
