USA Career Development has launched Jags Shadow, a job shadowing program to help students learn more about potential career paths in a variety of industries.  Shadow for a full-day or a half-day to observe a professional in their actual work environment.

What are the benefits of completing a shadowing experience?

  • Gain valuable information to assist in selecting a major
  • Determine if you are a good fit for a particular work environment
  • Develop more refined and realistic expectations regarding your career goals
  • Network with professionals in your field of interest

Employer partners and organizations from a variety of industries will participate in the program. If matched with a site, you will be required to complete a pre-departure orientation to prepare and ensure that you have a beneficial experience. You will also be required to provide your own transportation to your site.

If you are interested in participating in Jags Shadow, please contact our office at (251) 460-6188 or careerservices@southalabama.edu for additional details.
