University of South Alabama students, alumni, faculty and staff are invited to the dedication of the new $2.3 million USA Intramural Field Complex during a 4 p.m. reception on Sunday, Oct. 19.

Located west of Fraternity Row, the 13-acre complex can accommodate five soccer fields, five football fields and three softball fields. There is also a track for jogging and walking. The fields and adjacent parking lots are fully lighted for nighttime play and safety.

In addition to the fields, the Intramural facility also boasts a 3,000-square-foot field house with restrooms, showers and offices for Campus Recreation personnel.

The dedication ceremony will include remarks from USA President Gordon Moulton, SGA President Clay Hammac and Dr. Philip Theodore, director of Campus Recreation. Dr. Dale Adams, vice president for student affairs, will moderate the dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony. Following the presentations, refreshments will be served.
