The University of South Alabama’s Human Resources Office will move to a new location on the second floor of USA Research & Technology Park Building III on Monday, Oct. 22.

The building off North Drive on campus was formerly known as the Health Services Building. Until Oct. 22, Human Resources will continue to operate from its location on the second floor of the Administration Building.

Human Resources Director Pamela Henderson said the new location will allow the office to serve employees and job applicants through a variety of enhancements including an expanded lobby, computer work stations and an employee training center.

“We are excited about this move because we can now better serve our fellow employees and job applicants,” Henderson said. “The new location features larger space for both recruiting and training. It will also include easier access due to increased parking. Plus, we will be providing computers to facilitate the on-line job application process.”

In the coming year, Human Resources will offer new services including: extended front desk office hours on Wednesdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; a photo identification program for campus employees; a full-day new employee orientation program; an on-line employment application tracking system; and, an updated Staff Employee Handbook.
