Schedule an Appointment
The most efficient way to receive care at the University of South Alabama Student Health Center (SHC) is by making an appointment. When you make an appointment, under normal circumstances you will reduce the time you wait to be seen. It is important to be on time for your appointment. Walk-In service is also available in the general clinic. Students should be aware that the most urgent, emergency-type problems are seen first.
The new patient web portal is now available for students to go on-line and make appointments, check to see if there is a balance owed to the Student Health Center, and to receive communication from their health care provider. Students are encouraged to enroll in the web portal by going to https://jaghealth.usouthal.edu. If you have questions, call (251) 460-7151.
During the fall, spring and summer semesters, the SHC hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The SHC is closed on Saturday, Sunday and school holidays.
Walk-ins not wanting to make appointments must be prepared to wait to be seen by a provider assigned in the order that they arrived in the clinic. It is important to be on time for your appointments.
