2016 Rawls Award for Outstanding Biology Senior
Posted on May 19, 2016 by biology
This year's Rawls Award for Outstanding Senior went to Ravi Rajendra. He has had quite a busy and productive time during his time at South. Ravi is part of the University's Honors programs and has been able to maintain a perfect 4.0 GPA in the program. He has been involved in undergraduate research in Dr. Glen Borchert's lab on a project for which he won an award for his poster that showcased his 2015 UCUR summer research project. If this were not enough, he has also served at this year's president of the SGA. Ravi plans to attend medical school in the fall of 2017. We congratulate him on his success and wish him the best in his future pursuits.
