39th Summer Topology and Its Applications Conference

SumTopo is an established conference series since 1986, attracting 120-200 participants annually. As always, this meeting will engage discussion in modern advances in topology through the activities of several special sessions, as well as invited plenary and semi-plenary speakers.

Topological Dynamics and Continuum Theory
Talks related to topological dynamics, continuum theory, and the interaction between them. Organizers: Lori Alvin, James Kelly.
Plenary and Semi-Plenary Talks
SumTopo 2025 will feature plenary and semi-plenary talks from several notable researchers.
Topological Graph Theory

Talks concerning the study of embeddings of graphs in the 3-dimensional space or surfaces and graphs as topological spaces. Organizers: Thomas Mattman and Andrei Pavelescu.

 

Low-Dimensional Topology
Talks related to knot theory and low-dimensional topology. Organizers: Carmen Caprau and Christine Lee.
Set-Theoretic Topology
Talks involving set-theoretic techniques used to investigate topics in general topology. Organizers: Chris Caruvana, Jared Holshouser, Lynne Yengulalp.
Topology and Computing
This special session will feature the applications of computing for topology, and vice versa, broadly construed. Organized by Jim Fowler and Ziqin Feng.
