Dr. Lesley Gregoricka's NSF-REU (Bioarchaeology of Bronze Age Social Systems) has been funded
Posted on February 15, 2019 by SYANSW
The REU will bring eight undergraduates from around the country to USA for the next three summers (beginning in 2019) for intensive hands-on research with archaeological human skeletal remains from Bronze Age Arabia. Students will also receive mentorship from guest scientists, debate the ethics surrounding the study of human remains, construct posters to present at a national conference each spring, and engage in public outreach both in the US and remotely with local communities in the United Arab Emirates.
