The Department of Health, Kinesiology and Sport was well represented at the International Society of Sports Nutrition Conference in Tampa, Florida. Several faculty and students made presentations on their research projects.
Dr. Neil Schwarz and Brandon Funderburg presented their research on "Effect of Acute (-) Epicatechin Supplementation on Time to Complete the 15.5 CrossFit Workout." (See the image above.)
Dr. Geoffrey Hudson presented his research on "Energy System Analytical Techniques for Wingate Anaerobic Capacity Tests."
Dr. Neil Schwarz and Zac Blahnik presented their research on "A Randomized Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial of (-)- Epicatechin Supplementation on Applications to Aerobic and Anaerobic Endurance Exercise Training."
