Dr. Islam Appointed as Member of the Transportation Research Board

Dr. Samantha Islam, an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering was recently appointed as a member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Committee on Statistical Methods (ABJ80). With a focus on transportation, this committee is concerned with the appropriate application of statistical methods in the field, serving as a resource to other TRB committees on statistical matters. TRB is one of seven divisions within the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
