Evan Mazur Awarded the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society Fellowship
Posted on August 13, 2020 by Ellen Burton

It is my pleasure to share that our USA nominee for Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society national fellowships for 2020, Evan Mazur, was selected as a fellow for 2020 and will receive an $8500 award for graduate study. She is one of the Hohenstein Fellows, which go to the top-ranking nominee in each division.
Walter & Adelheid Hohenstein Fellows - The late Walter Hohenstein, a former national president of Phi Kappa Phi, and his wife Adelheid, bequeathed funds to establish scholarships that bear their names. First awarded in 2004, the six Hohenstein Fellowships go to the top-ranking nominee in each of the Society's five divisions and, if applicable, to a recipient from University of Maryland.
Evan graduated in May of 2020 from the Civil, Coastal, and Environmental Engineering Department.
