Welcoming New Internship Coordinator

Jessica Franks is the new Coordinator of Experiential Learning at the Mitchell College of Business. She will work with both students and employers to coordinate, expand, and enhance opportunities for internships and experiential learning at MCOB.

Previously, Jessica worked as the Coordinator of First Generation Scholarships at The University of Alabama, and as a Career Consultant at The University of Alabama School of Law.

Prior to her work in higher education, Jessica was a Deputy District Attorney for Tuscaloosa County, prosecuting felony and misdemeanor cases.

Jessica received a Bachelor of  Arts from The University of Alabama and a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Alabama School of Law.

She is moving to Mobile from Tuscaloosa with her husband Jeremy, and their dog Sampson.

The Mitchell College is pleased to welcome Ms. Franks. In her capacity as Coordinator of Experiential Learning, Franks will act as a liaison between the College and businesses in our Gulf Coast community as well as across the country. She is already hard at work matching promising talent to internship and work opportunities within companies of all sizes.
