USA Symphony Orchestra Spring Concert April 1 at Laidlaw!

On April 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Recital Hall, the University of South Alabama Symphony Orchestra will present two mainstays of Romantic orchestra repertoire for its fourth inaugural concert. Two movements from Hector Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique, March to the Scaffold and Witches' Sabbath, open the concert. Closing the concert is the first tone poem ever composed, Liszt's "Les Preludes." These two progressive and adventurous works will be complimented by Peter Warlock's "Capriol Suite" for stringed orchestra. Dr. Robert J. Seebacher will conduct the USA Symphony Orchestra in this performance.

Tickets for this Musical Arts Series event will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or check only). (Pass Holders only please! Held seats not claimed within 20 minutes of the performance may be offered to other concert attendees.)
