USA Wind Ensemble
The University of South Alabama Wind Ensemble will be performing the 2015 Alabama All-State Band Festival Host Concert at the downtown Mobile Saenger Theatre on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public (that's you!) -- it's a great venue with the new shell and we would love to see all of you in attendance to support our students, guest soloist Jasmin Arakawa, and guest conductors Mike Phillips and Greg Gruner. In addition, Dr. Lacey Powell will be conducting El Capitan (USA's first ever Director of Bands from 1965-1982) at the beginning of the second half.
This is an exciting week for USA's Department of Music (we have our regular campus
concerts this week, too!), and we hope that you can join us downtown on Friday night for a great Wind Ensemble concert!
