Audition Results Announced for Fall 2020 Concert Bands

After two days of auditions, we are pleased to announce the concert band audition results for Fall of 2020.  We applaud all those who auditioned and look forward to making music this semester with these talented musicians!

The USA Wind Ensemble will begin rehearsing on Monday, August 24th.  The USA Symphony Band will begin rehearsals on Tuesday, August 25th.

Students should make sure they are enrolled in the appropriate band before the end of drop/add.  Wind Ensemble is MUO 127/427/527 (.5/1 credit) and Symphony Band is MUO 117/417/517 (.5/1 credit).

The USA Wind Ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Will Petersen, Director of Bands at the University of South Alabama, and meets on Monday and Wednesday from 11:15AM-1:10PM and Fridays from 11:15AM-12:05PM.  The USA Symphony Band is under the direction of Dr. Jason Rinehart, Associate Director of Bands, and rehearses on Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00AM-12:15PM.  Both bands are assisted by Mr. Matthew Greenwood, Assistant Director of Bands and Interim Director of Percussion Studies.
