The USA Wind Ensemble and Symphony Band will combine forces for a joint Winter Band Concert on Monday, February 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. The USA Wind Ensemble is conducted by Dr. William H. Petersen, and Dr. Robert D. Abend conducts the USA Symphony Band. Also of note is that Dr. Abend will guest conduct the Wind Ensemble in his transcription of R. Nathaniel Dett's "In the Bottoms," originally a work for piano.
