Dr. Brian Nozny will present a faculty percussion recital on Monday, September 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. Performing on a variety of percussion instruments, the recital will feature musical guests from the USA faculty and beyond. Repertoire will include works such as Ben Wahlund's "The Whimsical Nature of Small Particle Physics" for snare drum and fixed media, "Devil Dance" for flute and hand drum featuring USA faculty member Dr. Andra Bohnet, and two of Nozny's original compositions, "Thief" for marimba and tuned metal pipes and "FRAME I" for riq and fixed media. Also assisting Dr. Nozny will be clarinetist Marissa Stanfill and flutist Rachel Nozny.

Tickets for this Musical Arts Series event will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (cash or check only). Musical Arts Series season passes will of course be honored for admission to this event.
