Patti Cudd Guest Artist Percussion Rescheduled to Jan 25!
(This concert was rescheduled to this date out of an abundance of caution due to weather conditions. Thank you for your patience and understanding.)
Dr. Patti Cudd will present a guest artist percussion recital on Saturday, January 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. Among the pieces Dr. Cudd will be performing on this recital will be a premiere of a new work by USA Professor of Music David Z. Durant and another piece by Dr. Durant titled "Shadow of the Hawk" for vibraphone and fixed audio.
Tickets for this Department of Music event will be sold at the door only. Admission is $8 general and $5 for USA faculty & staff, USA students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens (card or cash accepted). Musical Arts Series season passes will of course be honored for admission to this event. About the artist
Dr. Patti Cudd is active as a percussion soloist, chamber musician, and educator. Patti is a member of the acclaimed new music ensemble, Zeitgeist. Her other diverse performing opportunities have included CRASH, the Minnesota Contemporary Ensemble, Minnesota Dance Theatre, and the Borrowed Bones Dance Theater. Patti teaches at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University.
