Dr. Todd Andel - Provost Faculty Fellow

Dr. Todd Andel has been selected as a Provost Faculty Fellow for the 2018-19 academic year.
Dr. Andel, Professor in the School of Computing (SoC), joined the USA faculty in
2012 following his retirement from the United States Air Force and has served as the
SoC Cyber Assurance Program Coordinator. Dr. Andel has been recognized as the SoC
Teacher of the year (2017-18) and has maintained a continuous stream of grant funding.
Dr. Andel completed his B.S.C.E in Computer Engineering at the University of Central
Florida, his M.S.C.E in Computer Engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology,
and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Florida State University.
The Provost Faculty Fellows Program is an opportunity for faculty members interested
in developing leadership and administrative skills at the University level. As a
part of the program, Fellows will increase their understanding of university-wide
academic initiatives, strategic planning, budget issues, and challenges in higher
education. In addition, Fellows will also make direct contributions to the Provost's
Office by taking on special projects and assisting in other operational activities.
