Mecca McPherson was raised in Pensacola, Florida, but has spent most of her adult life in Washington, D.C. and Maryland. She has an educational background in maternal and child health and epidemiology. Mecca's goal as an academic advisor is to support students holistically, by helping them to achieve their academic pursuits and encouraging them to evolve and grow as individuals. When Mecca isn't working, you will find her creating the itinerary for her next vacation, trying out a new recipe, or fawning over her long haired Dachshund puppy
