Faculty members from the University of South Alabama led an insightful presentation on workforce development and career readiness at the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) Annual Meeting, held December 7-10, 2024, in Austin, Texas.

At the recent 2024 Assessment Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana, Julie M. Estis, Ph.D., executive director of academic enhancement and associate professor of speech-language pathology, and David S. Williams, Ph.D., MPA, assistant dean for institutional and academic success in the Office of Academic Planning, led a workshop titled "LevelUP Student Learning and Success with ePortfolios: Making the Most of What You Have."

The Office of Academic Enhancement is excited to announce the selection of 10 distinguished faculty and staff members to join the second cohort of LevelUP Fellows for the 2024-2025 Academic Year. This group is integral to our continued implementation of the LevelUP Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), supporting our aim of uniquely preparing University of South Alabama students for their next steps.

The University of South Alabama Office of Academic Enhancement is excited to announce the 2024 LevelUP Program Accelerator awards. As part of our LevelUP Quality Enhancement Plan, LevelUP Program Accelerators are awarded on a competitive basis to support academic programs and student success service units in developing and implementing plans for improving student preparation for their next steps.

The Office of Academic Enhancement, in collaboration with the Innovation in Learning Center and Career Development, is pleased to announce the successful completion of the "LevelUP Your Course: Enhancing Curriculum-Based Career Readiness" mini-course by 11 South Alabama faculty members from five colleges. This initiative, part of the LevelUP Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), equips faculty with the tools to integrate career-focused activities into their courses, ensuring students gain valuable skills aligned with employer expectations.
