Major Connections

Monday, October 21st from 12pm to 3pm

Second Year Experience invites you to Major Connections, an exciting event designed to showcase the diverse fields of study at South Alabama in a fun and engaging way. This event is particularly aimed at second-year students who are exploring their academic paths. However, everyone is welcome to attend and explore!

Event Details:

  • Date: Monday, October 21st
  • Time: 12 PM to 3 PM
  • Location: USA Student Center Amphitheater and East Lobby

Major Connections will feature interactive booths where you can learn more about majors, minors, or concentrations through games, exhibits, giveaways, and other engaging activities.

Food will be served to the first 200 students!

The Second Year Events Subcommittee invites you to participate in Major Connections! Major Connections is an event aimed at showcasing the different fields of study at South to students, specifically second year students, in a fun and unique way. Participating Departments should create interactive booths to promote majors, minors, and/or concentrations using games, exhibits, giveaways, and/or other engaging activities.

Majors Connections will take place on Monday, October 21st  from 12pm to 3pm at the USA Student Center Amphitheater and East Lobby. Department booths will be set up in the amphitheater. This opportunity is a great way to recruit more students to your major and minors, so make your booth engaging!
