Mobile Townhouse

The Marx House, affectionately known as the Mobile Townhouse by current Jaguars, is now the home of the Office of Southbound Visits and Orientation. The staff welcomes hundreds of guests weekly to tour campus, discover the academic and social opportunities at USA, and learn about the resources and services offered to all South students.
The house was built in 1868 in downtown Mobile and it was reconstructed on South's campus 100 years later. Now located on South Drive in front of the USA Student Center, the townhouse sits in the heart of campus as a historic landmark.
