The University of South Alabama Executive Leadership in Greece program is a finalist in the Innovative Study Abroad Program category for the 2025 GoAbroad Innovation Awards.
The GoAbroad Innovation Awards Academy will be voting over the coming weeks to determine the winners for each award. The winners will be announced at the GoAbroad Reception to be held during a national conference and expo in San Diego, California.
“We are excited South’s Executive Leadership in Greece program has been named a finalist in the Innovative Study Abroad category,” said Dr. Bri Ard, executive director of Global Engagement at South. “And, we are honored to have our program included among this stellar group of finalists.”
South’s Executive Leadership in Greece Program is a short-term experience open to any undergraduate or graduate student who is interested in exploring leadership at a global level. As a USA faculty-led program, students will engage in transformative international experiences while earning course credit in educational leadership. South’s Executive Leadership in Greece program for 2025 will take place from May 21 to June 3.
Dr. Andi Kent, executive vice president and provost, and Dr. Richard Carter, associate vice president for global engagement, will deliver the course and accompany the student participants to Greece. The program is being supported by South’s College of Education and Professional Studies.
