The gift is the annual holiday concert presented by the University of South Alabama Department of Music. Titled “Season of Celebration,” this year’s event is Thursday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the Mitchell Center. Doors open at 5:30 and the concert is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and the public.
“The Department of Music is always excited to perform at the University’s annual holiday concert,” said Dr. Greg Gruner, professor and chair of music at USA. “It is a wonderful opportunity for the University community, as well as the Mobile community, to enjoy the uplifting performances of our talented students and faculty.”
Faculty soloists and student ensembles performing will include the Concert Choir, University Chorale, Wind Ensemble, Opera and Musical Theatre Workshop, Orchestra, Woodwind Quintet, Clarinet Ensemble, Celtic Crue, Steel Band, Herald Trumpets, Jazz Ensemble and the Jaguar Marching Band.
