War, Memory and Culture Book Series inaugurated with The Battle Over Peleliu
Posted on January 15, 2016 by War and Memory

The Battle over Peleliu offers an ethnographic study of how Palau and Peleliu were transformed by warring great powers in the Second World War and further explores how their conflict is remembered differently by the three peoples who shared that experience. It is the first book in the series War, Memory, and Culture, published by the University of Alabama Press and the Center for the Study of War and Memory.
