Global Impact Heroes
On behalf of the University of South Alabama Office of International Education and Study Abroad, we thank our donors for their generous support. Your investment helps students access life-changing global experiences that enhance learning and prepare them for success in an interconnected world.
According to the IIE, over 50% of students who study abroad develop critical skills like communication and problem-solving, while over 70% report growth in intercultural competence, adaptability, and self-awareness. The CASSIE Project further shows study abroad students are 6.2% more likely to graduate in four years, with even greater gains for first-generation and need-based students.
Thanks to you, our students are gaining confidence, global perspective, and the skills to lead across cultures and careers.
Each academic year, our scholarship fund supports over 300 students in studying abroad. With interest growing annually, these donations continue to open doors for more students to explore the world, gain global perspectives, and enrich their academic journeys.
