USA Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund II Communication

The below log presents the messages sent to students with regard to the USA HEERF program, eligibility, and application process. 


February 14, 2021

The CRRSAA HEERF Round II emergency grant application is NOW open. 

HEERF awards are grants that may be used for any component of the student’s cost of attendance, for costs that have arisen due to coronavirus such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or child care.

The application is open now and the priority deadline is February 14, 2021. Applications may be accepted and awards may be provided after the deadline ONLY if funds remain. To ensure consideration please be sure to have your application completed by February 14th, 2021. 

Under U.S. Department of Education rules for the program, to be eligible to receive these funds students must:

  • have been classified as an undergraduate or graduate student 
  • enrolled in a degree-seeking program during the Spring term of 2021 (current term)

Applications are available in your PAWS account. To apply:  

  • Log-in through the Student Login Portal
  • Select PAWS from the directory
  • Select the “Student Services & Financial Aid” tab
  • Select the “2021 Higher Education Emergency Stimulus Relief Fund Application” link

HEERF Round II awards will be administered through your student account. For information on how to verify or set up your Electronic Direct Deposit, please visit the Office of Student Accounting website.
