Guest Lecture on Environmental Justice

Dr. Jennifer Carrera, Michigan State University, will discuss environmental justice and differential access to environmental resources and its impact on the well-being of individuals in marginalized communities, using water as a lens through which to examine mechanisms of exclusion. The event will take place Monday, November 5 at 6:00 PM in the Health Sciences Building 1020 and is open to the public.
The event sponsored by the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work; USA Environmental Toxicology Program; USA Sociology Club/AKD International Sociology Honor Society; Center for Generational Studies; and Mobile Baykeeper.
