PASSAGE USA, (Preparing All Students Socially and Academically for Gainful Employment) is a postsecondary, non-degree, certificate program designed for students (ages 18-28) with intellectual disabilities who need extra support to be successful in our community.
- 1:30 p.m. - Check-in and welcome
- 1:45 p.m. - Learn about academics, social opportunities and peer mentors
- 2 p.m. - Overview of on- and off-campus jobs
- 2:15 p.m. - Discussion of program logistics, financial aid, living arrangements and transportation
- 2:30 p.m. - Open Q&A
- 2:45 p.m. - Break
- 3-4 p.m. - VIP campus tour for prospective families
- 3-until - Special education teacher Q&A with PASSAGE USA staff
Prospective students and families are invited to this open house to learn more about PASSAGE USA. Special education teachers are also invited to attend. Teachers can help families understand this unique opportunity as they start planning for the future. Families will have a VIP opportunity to tour campus after the meeting, and special education teachers can stay behind to ask more questions and talk through resources with PASSAGE USA staff.
