A Matter of Balance Fall Prevention Program

Logo for A Matter of BalanceA Matter of Balance is a program designed to increase activity levels and reduce the fear of falling among older adults. Falls do not have to be a normal part of aging. There are steps you can take to help prevent falls as you age.

A Matter of Balance is an eight-week course comprised of weekly two-hour sessions. In these sessions, program participants learn how to make changes to reduce their fall risk at home, set goals to increase daily activity, and increase strength and balance. If you are concerned about falling, have fallen in the past, or have restricted your social activities because of a fear of falling, this course is for you!
