Student Resources
There are a large variety of resources available to students, both external and internal. Students are encouraged to participate in School of Computing Student Groups such as the Student Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Jaguar Women in Technology (J-WIT), DayZero (a cybersecurity competition club), and the Video Game Development Club (VGDC). Students, as well as the community at large, are also invited to our monthly CFITS Lecture Series held the third Wednesday of the month during Fall and Spring semesters.
DayZero regularly competes in the Southeast Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition as well as several other regional and national events.
Students are also encouraged to participate in these other individual and team events:
- NSA Codebreaker Challenge
- US Cyber Games
- Collegiate SECTF
- The CyberForce® Program Department of Energy Cyber Defense Competition
- Cyber Fast Track
- Hivestorm
- National Cyber League
- Hack Warz
