2024-2025 Cost of Attendance by Class

Cost of Attendance is the estimated amount that it will cost a student to attend the University of South Alabama Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine during the academic year using standard costs.

Standard costs reflect a modest, adequate living allowance. They include: fees, books and supplies, and average living expenses. They do not take into consideration all individual circumstances or discretionary expenses. STEP 1 and STEP 2 fees are included in the M2 and M3 Books and Supplies portion of these Costs of Attendance.

The Cost of Attendance or (COA) is sometimes called the student's "budget." It is composed of standard tuition, fees, books, supplies, personal expenses, transportation, and living expenses.
