INTO LIGHT Project Alabama
“Drug Addiction: Real People, Real Stories”
Spring 2025
The INTO LIGHT Alabama art exhibition, "Drug Addiction: Real People, Real Stories," features original graphite portraits and stories of people from Alabama who have died from drug addiction/poisoning.
The goal of the INTO LIGHT project is to change the conversation about drug addiction, educate the public about the disease of addiction, and reduce the stigma surrounding the substance use disorder.
The exhibit will be on display during Fall 2024 Semester in the Student Center Second Floor lobby and during Spring 2025 semester at the USA Archaeology Museum.
