Pre-Residency Requirements

Students with a mathematics or an approved engineering or science major (such as physics) or 32 semester hours / 19 in upper division mathematics courses from an accredited institution are encouraged to apply for a Pre-Residency opportunity in the PTM program. The Pre-residency will be two days per week from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m and will afford applicants an opportunity to spend time in both a middle school and a high school with mentor teachers.
